The result in the Department of Education under this university has been commendable. First rank in B.A. honours was achieved in the university consecutively in the year 2019 and 2020. Second rank in B.A. honours was achieved in the university consecutively in the year 2021 and 2022. The faculty members as well as the students engage in participatory mode of teaching and learning. Besides active classroom participation and discussion, the students are greatly encouraged to engage in undertake different projects.

The Department of Education being associated with a discipline primarily interdisciplinary in nature caters to the varied domains of student’s development. The faculty members of the department take focused measures to cater to both the academic needs and expectations of the students as well as their emotional well-being. Personal care is provided to the students by way of mentoring and remedial teaching. The Department admits differently abled students and makes necessary provisions to cater to their individualized educational needs.

Education is an inter-disciplinary subject which absorbs matter from subject like Philosophy, Psychology, Sociology, History, Statistics, Technology, Management and Current affairs. It helps to delve deeply into human behaviour and creates educators and teacher to nurture young minds. Since it is interdisciplinary it has its doors opening towards management, teaching, research, journalism etc.
