Welcome to Sitalkuchi College. We always feel elated to making relationship with you as you venture to take part in our academic programmes. We are here to offer you Under Graduate Honours and Programme Courses in Arts subjects under the affiliation of Cooch Behar Panchanan Barma University. We are also engaged in providing opportunities of an extended campus life through the Distance Learning Programmes under Netaji Subhas Open University and the Directorate of Distance Education, Rabindra Bharati University for interested students of the surrounding region. Being located in one of the remote Community Development Blocks of Cooch Behar district, it is true that we do not fall within the category of the so called elite colleges of the District as well as the state of West Bengal, yet we are committed to creating an environment of unlimited opportunities of teaching, learning, exploring, sharing and engaging together.

Our academic journey has already crossed the milestone of 20 years. Over these two decades we have become the proud mentor of a few silver and gold medalists of the University. Many of our students have been successful in competing at all India level academic institutions for pursuing higher studies. Some of our students have also bagged prestigious Research Fellowships and have made us feel proud for securing Assistant Professorship and other jobs in state and central government sectors. Our team of young professors indulge in hard work for churning the best effort out of the first generation learners of the institution. For these students we work together to promote an engaging and enthusiastic campus climate.
