All the students enrolled at Sitalkuchi College have the right to appeal any Academic/Non-academic matter in which they feel that they have been treated unfairly. Students may register a grievance with the College’s College Grievance Redressal Cell if any issue develops and cannot be handled amicably. Any student issue or complaint may be brought to the Cell for formal assessment. According to UGC Guidelines, the campus hearing body adheres to a series of official processes. Students will receive assistance in making their case from a Student Representative, as well as advice from the committee members. The final day of the relevant semester after the semester in which the incident happened is the deadline for submitting any form of grievance. The Grievance Redressal Committee’s judgement would be considered final and binding.
A lower-level settlement is usually preferable because the Grievance Redressal Committee does not support rapid fixes. The committee must try at such a settlement before it would accept a case. Documentation is accessible at the stated Cell’s office.
Any student who wishes to file a grievance can contact the chairperson of the Grievance Redressal Cell.
